Dial M for Marriage

One of the creative projects I’m most proud of is the planning and execution of my own wedding, which we positioned as the world premiere of a film called Dial M for Marriage.

It had a red carpet with a step and repeat, plenty of parody film posters, a movie trivia slide show, and 11 minutes of pre-show entertainment including a behind the scenes featurette and a trailer.

And our absolute favorite parts were these:

When instead of exchanging rings, we exchanged VHS copies of The Ring….

And when our first dance was a surprise choreographed version of Time After Time from Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion.

Here’s a Flickr album full of some of my favorite photos, taken by the most talented wedding photographer in the world, Bernadette Pollard.
